Our client, an industrial company specialized in manufacturing within the plastics sector, is looking to hire an HR Manager to lead the people function at its site located in Secteur Laval, Mayenne (Pays de la Loire).

🔎 Role Mission:
Lead the Human Resources function across the company, ensuring a comprehensive people management approach aligned with business objectives and the operational needs of a manufacturing environment. The mission of the role is to drive talent acquisition, employee development, labor relations, and organizational effectiveness, while fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth.
🔎 Ideal Profile:
- Solid experience in a generalist HR role or in a position of responsibility within the Human Resources function.
- Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing environments will be highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of core HR processes: recruitment, training, talent development, payroll coordination, employee relations, and performance management.
- Ability to work closely with operations, managers, and senior leadership.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Business-oriented mindset combined with a strong people focus.
- Fluent English is mandatory for communication in an international environment.
🎓 Education:
- Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Psychology, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional training in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, or People Management will be considered a plus.

🧭 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full Human Resources function for the plant/company.
- Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition processes for operational, technical, and corporate roles.
- Manage personnel administration, including contracts, documentation, employee records, and compliance with labor regulations.
- Act as the main HR business partner for managers and employees on people-related matters.
- Drive initiatives related to training, development, and performance management.
- Support the definition and implementation of HR policies aligned with the company’s strategy.
- Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on organizational changes and continuous improvement projects within the people function.
- Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders in an international business context.
