Role Title:                       Head of Human Resources Talent & Culture

Reporting to:                  VP,  (Headquarters in UK)

Location:                         Madrid

 

With a demonstrated track record in overseeing the human aspect of organizations, the Head of Talent & Culture leads the management of employees and ensures that human resource programs and initiatives are efficiently implemented and are effective and aligned to business objectives. As a steward of the corporate values, the Head of Talent & Culture provides full-cycle recruitment for roles at all levels, onboards/offboards employees, supports employee development, resolves employee grievances and disputes and develops strategies and HR programs, policies and procedures in support of both the employee and the Company

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted influencer and advisor on company people and workplace culture initiatives working in partnership with Senior Controller and other management
  • While leading and overseeing HR, take an active, hands-on role delivering HR programs including: attracting, sourcing, full-cycle recruitment and succession planning; onboarding; employee performance management and development, compensation and benefits; health and safety; training; diversity and inclusion; and measuring and implementing employee engagement initiatives
  • Plan, develop, implement policies and procedures and facilitate understanding across the organization
  • Develop, implement and maintain competitive total rewards appropriate for job levels including variable compensation, a variety of bonuses and benefits
  • Coordinate and supervise work from externals on HR matters (payroll, data protection, time registering, health and safety, etc.)
  • Advise and provide employee relations advice to management and employees including Working Committee across work locations
  • Coach and influence managers at all levels of the organization to support a high-performing, positive, professional and resilient workplace
  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR support
  • Identify and address issues that affect the overall health of the organization e.g. morale, effectiveness and turnover including coaching through change
  • Create human resources forecasts for future organizational changes and needs based on cost structure, work volumes and other internal/external research
  • Plan and provide organizational development strategy and direction

Skills

  • Exceptional English and Spanish communication skills, both verbal and written. C1/C2 Level
  • Over 10-years of experience managing HR with 5-years of experience in an HR-oversight capacity (preference for aerospace or high technology industry experience with a background managing change and transitions and/or working with social/working committees/unions)
  • Track record in day-to-day operational HR (preference for individual with quality-oriented manufacturing or high-touch customer-delivery/order fulfillment background) AND experience developing and executing people strategies
  • Strong working knowledge of Spanish employment law issues
  • Acts as a professional role model and source of knowledge with a high-level of integrity and an ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to inspire confidence in managers through timely delivery of information and plans; Ability to work independently yet consult where appropriate
  • Understanding of leadership and management styles
  • Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions
  • Passionate and emotionally intelligent to identify underlying motivations or potential consequences to problem-solve effectively in collaboration w/ others

 

El nivel de inglés tiene que ser C1/C2, (reporta directamente a UK). La banda salarial está entre 50k y 80K en función de la valía del candidato. La incorporación es inmediata, por lo que se dará prioridad a profesionales que estén o bien en busqueda activa o bien trabajando por proyectos como Interim Managers. La posición no es de interim, es fija.
